Rebecca is a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She graduated in 2001 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with her Associate of Science in Nursing Rebecca was awarded the Outstanding Nursing Student Award in 2000 and 2001 and the outstanding Graduate award from the College of Science and Mathematics in 2001. She began working at the Arkansas Heart Hospital as a registered nurse while continuing her education. She graduated with nursing and university honors from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002, and continued to complete her Master of Nursing Science degree at UAMS in 2005, also with nursing and university honors. Rebecca also completed an additional Certificate for Nurse Education Specialty 2005 at UAMS. As an Advanced Practice Nurse she remained at the Arkansas Heart Hospital specializing in electrophysiology as well as general cardiology. She is an active Member in the Heart Rhythm Society, and is active in research. Rebecca has a passion for educating her patients on disease processes, treatment options, and healthy living to empower them to be active participants in their own care. She currently lives with her husband in Conway.
