Born and raised in Pottsville, Arkansas, Dee has been in nursing and medicine since 1986, first as an LPN and currently as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Her education includes an undergraduate degree from University for Medical Sciences at Little Rock and a Masters from University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Dee was also one of the first four APNs to complete a Doctorate in Nursing Practice as part of the state’s first doctoral program at the University of Arkansas. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for nurses.
Ms. White joined the team in 2005 while it was Little Rock Cardiology Clinic to pilot the effort toward developing a peripheral vascular disease management clinic. The program has continued to grow and after the merge with Arkansas Heart Hospital she took on the role of Clinical Director for the Vein & Vascular Institute and maintains a network of clinics throughout the state.
When she is not in clinic, Ms. White can be found outdoors. She enjoys hunting, kayaking, boating, biking, scuba diving and snow skiing. She enjoys spending time with her children and dogs.
