Robin Nuss grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She attended Ouachita Baptist University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1993. She then earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995 from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She worked as a CVICU nurse at Sparks Regional Medical Center for four years. In 1999 she moved to Little Rock and worked in the CVICU at UAMS while earning her Masters at UAMS with the focus in Acute Care. She graduated in 2002 with a Master of Nursing Science as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and became board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center. She¬ began working with a cardiologist in central AR after graduation and took a few months off to raise twins. Throughout her Nurse Practitioner career she has taught at UAMS in the BSN and Master’s programs. She also has spent time working as a hospitalist Nurse Practitioner in an LTAC. She then moved to Texas and worked in multiple areas: pain management clinic, Neurology (working with Neurosurgeons within a hospital setting) and in a Neuro recovery/rehab facility until she moved back to AR in 2016. Robin lives in Benton, AR with her husband, son and daughter. She works with Dr. Paulo Ribeiro in the Little Rock, Hope, and Dewitt clinics.
