Carl John Leding, MD

An Arkansas native and specialist in cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Carl Leding is board certified in both cardiology and nuclear cardiology, and he is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, he earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1993. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center, and his fellowship in cardiology at Brooke Army Medical Center.

Thereafter, Dr. Leding served his country in the United States Air Force working as a staff cardiologist and flight surgeon. He was an aeromedical consultant at Brooks Air Force Base, along with being director of echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and medical flight screening.

In 2003, Dr. Leding returned home to Arkansas and is now a partner at Arkansas Heart Hospital Clinic. He is also the director of the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at Arkansas Heart Hospital. Dr. Leding provides a full range of cardiovascular services, including CT angiography, echocardiography, coronary and peripheral angiography and intervention, and nuclear cardiology.
